Ytong lime- and cement-based exterior mortar is designed specifically for machine or hand plastering of all surfaces built with Ytong blocks. The so-called “self-reinforcing” property gives it a big advantage over other exterior plasters, because it is not necessary to use reinforcing mesh. In this way both time and money are saved in building the Ytong exterior wall.
This lime- and cement-based exterior finishing mortar is intended for finishing exterior walls at a thickness of 5 to 20 mm in a single coat. Before applying Ytong Exterior Mortar, it is mandatory to use Ytong acrylic primer mixed 1:6 with water (one part primer, six parts water) to impregnate the surface.
